I have been designing and creating luxury wedding cakes since 2014, when I founded my first business, Sugar Designs. What began as a passion for sugar craft quickly grew into an award-winning business, allowing me to create elegant, bespoke wedding cakes that are as beautiful as they are delicious.
Rachel Clare Cake Design is the natural evolution of that journey. Combining years of experience, exceptional craftsmanship and a reputation built on trust, I work with couples across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London and the Home Counties to design one-of-a-kind luxury wedding cakes tailored to their wedding style, venue and vision.
I am proud to have received multiple international awards from the prestigious Cake International group in recognition of my intricate sugar craft and innovative wedding cake designs. I have also been named a regional finalist in several leading wedding industry awards, thanks to the recommendations and support of my wonderful couples.

At Rachel Clare Cake Design, I create every luxury wedding cake from my bespoke cake studio in Buckinghamshire, where I am constantly developing new wedding cake designs, refining elegant sugar craft techniques and creating exciting new flavour combinations. Every bespoke wedding cake is handcrafted using the finest ingredients and tailored to reflect each couple’s unique style and celebration.
When I’m not designing wedding cakes, I love spending time with my family. My adorable niece and nephew are just as enthusiastic about baking and creating sparkling cake decorations as I am! Since turning my passion for cake design into a career, I’ve discovered a new creative outlet in crafting, and I’m on a mission to make as many handmade cards as possible.
